Kolkata: A pedestrian, who is a senior official of CII got back his costly iPhone today.Thanks to alertness of , sergeant Ayan gupta and Rajeshwar Roy, along with green police Partho Karar.
The trio while patrolling around Camac street and park Street area, found an apple iPhone in front of the Allen park. After taking custody of that phonethey decided to hand it over to the concerned police station but a phone call came from Mr. Indranil Ghosh (Deputy Director CII) looking for Mr. Soumya Saha ( Director CII), who was the owner of that phone.
The police officials informed their superior, OC South traffic Guard of Kolkata traffic police and as per his order we did our thorough investigation and contacted Mr. Soumya Saha and asked him to come down at park Street crossing with relevant documents for the identification of the said iPhone.
At around 10.30hrson Tuesday night Mr. Soumya Saha came down at Park Street crossing and provided all the necessary documents of the phone which satisfied the officials about the ownership of the precious phone and handed over to him.Saha thanked police officials after getting back the phone as the phone contained some valuable information for him.
