Summer has made a grand entry, temperatures begin to soar high leaving everyone feeling fatigued, sweaty and messed up. Staying hydrated is the most important factor to keep going in this sweltering heat and maintain good health. Our body tends to lose water at a faster pace due to excessive sweating. While water is the utmost important drink to quench thirst and also keep your body cool, let us refresh and replenish our body with some of the best summer beverages in order to beat the heat.

Citrus Curacao Punch

This is a very colorful and refreshing mocktail that can make any party interesting. It has sweet sour to taste and the sprite in it adds to the flavour.

Ingredients

Total time 8 minutes

5 Mosambi (sweet lime) slices

10 mint leaves

1/2 lemon

10 ml curacao syrup

10 ml sugar syrup

10-14 ice cubes(prepared with mint and orange)

2 cups sprite

Steps

1.Add a mint leaf and a mosambi slice in the ice tray holder and pour water and allow to freeze. The ice cubes look so nice with the orange and green texture.

2.In a serving glass add lemon, orange slices and mint leaves. Crush with a spoon to bring out the juices.

3.Add 10 ml of curacao syrup, 10 ml sugar syrup and mix.

4.Add the ice cubes, and pour sprite till brim. Garnish with mosambi slices, mint leaves and a colorful refreshing drink is ready.
Blue Lagoon Mojito

This is a very colorful and refreshing mocktail that can make any party interesting. It has sweet sour to taste and the sprite or soda in it adds to the flavour. This is a non-alcoholic drink and it has a strikingly close resemblance to the blue lagoon in Iceland, hence the name. It gets its blue colour from Blue curacao syrup

Ingredients

5 minutes

1 person

30 ml curacao syrup

150 ml soda or sprite

1/2 tsp lemon juice

1-2 mint leaves

1-2 lemon wedges

4-5 ice cubes

Steps:

1.Take a tall glass and add blue curacao syrup and lemon juice to it.

2.Now add 1-2 lemon wedges and fill half of the glass with ice.

3.Now its time to add soda or sprite

4.Take a stirrer and mix well and add few fresh mint leaves and serve chilled.
