While passing the paths of Park Street, I witnessed the tales of the past. Although this street has transmogrified into a “dine-dance-drink corridor”, amidst this rejuvenation I saw an indistinct effigy of a lady peeping through the panes.
I stopped there, and found the iconic store and auction store, Victor Brother’s, which had some rare vintage collectibles. This store has an alluring collection of antiques, curios, handicrafts, souvenirs and ancient memorabilia from the vintage era.
This shop has an awe inspiring collection of Brownie Cameras, majestic looking gramophones, exclusive chess boards, magnificent vases, grandfather clocks etc.
All of these collections provide the elixir of that bygone era.
My heart got shattered when my eyes caught the sight of the poster that the shop is going to cease its trading.
This colossal space that was occupied by Victor Brothers now, might very soon be occupied by something else.
Prior to this , here is the last time to pick up some iconic collectibles to deck up your house or at least spend some time and to experience the relics of the past.
