19th August is observed as world photography day.
The idea behind this day is to bring together the photographers around the world, to create meaningful and positive changes in the communities with the power of photography.
The origin dates back to 1837 when daguerreotype the 1st commercially successful photographic process was invented by Louis Jacques Mande Dauguerre.
