অভিষেক দাস ও দেবদীপ্তা বসাক আলবর্গ: ডেনমার্ক এর নর্থ জাটল্যান্ড অঞ্চল এর আলবর্গ শহর এ, সমস্ত ভারতবর্ষ থেকে ডেনমার্কে আসা বাঙালিরা আলবর্গ বাঙালি সমিতি গঠন করেছে। কয়েক বছর আগে মাত্র কয়েকটি বাঙালি পরিবারকে নিয়ে শুরু হওয়া এই সংগঠন আজ বেশ বড় আকার নিয়েছে।
দেশের বাইরে, এত হাজার ক্রোশ পাড়ি দিয়ে ও সদস্যরা চেষ্টা করে চলেছে নিজেদের ও ছোটদের মধ্যে বাঙালি সংস্কৃতিকে বজায় রাখার। কলকাতার পুজোর থেকে দূরে থেকেও, পুজোর আমেজ ও অনুভূতিকে ফুটিয়ে তোলার জন্য ২০১৯ সাল থেকে এই পুজো শুরু হয়।
এই পুজো বড়দের জন্য যতটা আনন্দের, বাঙালি উৎসব ও সংস্কৃতির সাথে পরিচিত হওয়ার জন্য বাচ্চাদের কাছেও ততটাই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। গতবছর অতিমারীর কারণে এই অনুষ্ঠান বিঘ্নিত হলেও এই বছর ডেনমার্কের সমস্ত বিধিনিষেধ মেনে আবার উদযাপিত হচ্ছে।
আলবর্গ এর জীবনযাপন এর সাথে খাপখাইয়ে, কলকাতার পুজোর সময়ের সপ্তাহান্তে তিনদিন ব্যাপী এই পুজো অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। প্রথমদিন ষষ্ঠী ও সপ্তমীর পুজো, দ্বিতীয় দিনে অষ্টমী ও সন্ধিপূজা এবং তৃতীয়দিন নবমী ও বিজয়া দশমী পালিত হয়। এছাড়াও সকলে উৎসাহের সঙ্গে সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে এই উৎসবে অংশগ্রহণ করে।
Durga puja in Aalborg

Bengalis in Aalborg (BIA) is a group of Bengalis from all over India who have come to Denmark for various purposes and reside in an around Jutland Region, with mostly resisiding in the city of Aalborg. It started with a handful of Bengalis few years ago with a steady increase in membership.
The group tries to keep the Bengali culture alive within the members and their kids, in a land far away from homeland. Durga puja is very close to our heart for its cultural values. It’s a festival of joy where everybody enjoys the festive atmosphere which also helps to bond together and makes up the missing ´pujo´ from Bengal.
It has a significant importance for kids, as they become more aware of their culture and remains connected despite growing up far away from homeland.
BIA has been organizing Durga puja for last few years with full fervour and festivities despite last year celebration being affected due to pandemic and restrictions .To adapt in our lives, jobs, and society the puja is celebrated as a three-day weekend event while keeping all the rituals of puja. In addition, we celebrate this festival with cultural activities where both adults and kids participate actively.
