Desher Samay: A photography exhibition on “Sacred Rivers, Streams of Knowledge” organized by Italian Consulate of Kolkata in collaboration with the West Bengal Transport Corporation going on Kolkata Heritage River Cruise beside Millennium Park from 10th November 2021. The exhibition comprises photos of the river Tevere of Italy and Ganga both from sources to until their merging with the seas ,all captured by Italian photographer Mr. Giancarlo Cammerini of Rieti ,Italy.cammerini at various locations starting from their sources.
Innagural speeches were given by Dr. Massimo Spadoni, Scientific Attaché from the Embassy of Italy, New Delhi, Dr. Debal Deb, biologist and ecologist at Bhubaneswar and Consul General explaining the role of rivers in the ecosystem and their cultural and environmental significance.
Last few months in 2021 Italian Consul General Dr Gianluca Rubagotti has taken serious initiative to bring up cultural side of both countries India and Italy, organizing cultural events, photo exhibitions of photographers of both countries on street-Photography ,Life of common people, Ganga & Tevere river .Italina consulate general.during 2021 FOUR exbitions were organised at national library ,Lalit Great eastern hotel etc next exhibition on PUCHKEE and Dante Alighieri will commence on 18th September 2021 at Kolkata The exhibition is open to public at the Millennium Park jetty from 11 am to 5 pm till Sunday 14th November all are welcome. কলকাতার ইতালিয়ান কনস্যুলেটের উদ্যোগে হেরিটেজ জলযানে গঙ্গা ও ইতালির তেভেরে নদীর এক আলোকচিত্র প্রদর্শনী :
ইতালির কনসুল জেনারেল জানলুকা রুবাগোত্তী প্রদর্শনীর উদ্বোধন করে জানালেন,ভারত ও ইতালির সাংস্কৃতিক আদান-প্রদানের চল দির্ঘ দিনের। দুই নদীর, উৎস থেকে সমুদ্রে মিশে যাওয়া পর্যন্ত সব ছবি তুলেছেন মধ্য ইতালির রিয়েতি নিবাসী আলোকচিত্রী জানকারলো কাম্মরিনি ।১৯৮৪ সালে সতের বছর বয়সে প্রথমবার এ দেশে এসেই ভারতীয় সংস্কৃতির পরিচয় পেয়ে জানলুকা মুগ্ধ হয়ে যান,ফলে বারংবার ভারত আসেন এবং গোমুখ থেকে সাগর চষে বেড়ান,তারই ফলশ্রুতি এই প্রদর্শনী।যুক্ত হয়েছে আদিকাল থেকে রোম শহরের মধ্য দিয়ে বয়ে চলা তেভেরে নদীরও উৎস থেকে সমুদ্রে বিলীন হওয়াও।
উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে দিল্লির ইতালিয় দূতাবাসের বৈঞ্জানিক মাসসিমো স্পাদোনী ও ভুবিজ্ঞানি শ্রী দেবল দেব সংস্কৃতি ও পরিবেশ রক্ষায় নদীর অসীম ভুমিকার কথা তথ্যের দ্বারা বুঝিয়ে বলেন।প্রসঙ্গত বলা যায় কলকাতার ইতালিয় কনসুল জেনারেল শ্রী রুবাগোত্তী বিগত কয়েক মাস ধরেই ধারাবাহিক ভাবে ন্যাশানাল লাইব্রেরী,দ্য ললিত, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ভূতল পরিবহনের সহযোগিতায়, ভারতীয় এবং ইতালিয় শিল্পীদের বেশ কয়েকটি প্রদর্শনীর আয়োজন করেছেন।আগামী ১৮ নভেম্বর কলকাতায় ছোটদের জন্য “পুচকী বনাম দান্তে-আলিগেরী” বিষয়ক এক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজনও এগিয়ে চলেছে।মিলেনিয়াম পার্কে গঙ্গা-তেভেরে প্রদর্শনীটিতে রবিবার সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত সবার জন্য খোলা।-সুব্রত দত্ত। ছবি তুলেছেন-ধ্রুব হালদার৷
